I worked with cops like this, back in the mid 90s. They just itched for a reason to be a dick. Psychologicals failed to filter them out. Some, even got fired for abuse of force, but some skirted the line and remained. It's one of the reasons I moved on. Between those who power tripped on the badge and gun and others who were the laziest humans I'd ever known, I didn't have the tolerance for it. Seems like there's many more of this ilk, these days.
