Assuming it's still being tweaked...? Anyone other than Bob Beck and Broz testing them...?

I’m wondering where any Berger 6.5 bullets are lol. Are these match rounds or hunting? Seems like they’d need a 1:7.5 or faster twist.

Hope they hurry its almost hunting season here

I emailed them earlier in the week about these bullets and this is the response I got:

Nick,
Right now we have no information other than this bullet is expected to be released sometime this fall. Please check back with us in September. Hopefully the bullet would have been already released by then. Or we have been given more information in regards as to when it will be released ETC.

I personally think that berger saw sierra release the 150SMK with the huge BC and even though this is a hunting bullet and the SMK is a match I think they went back to the drawing board to try beat sierras 150 BC. Over on the longrange hunting forum BROZ early reports of BC were not as good as the new 150 SMK. I think they are going to come out with something that tops the 6.5 BC!!!

Maybe we should start blowing up their Email :)
I think Berger just had too many projects in their pipeline during their recent HQ move to AZ.
I do hope they are available soon, I have a 7 twist PRC that doesn't mind the 150's but dialing in those EOL's was my original intent.

150's? Where are the 140's?!
I have two rifles that run exclusively Berger 140 vld hunting and now I'm out!
I tried 140 eldx and there was no love there!

Its right here

E-mailed berger yesterday and got the vague robo return email as well. I'll be stickin with the 150's for a while I think.

Well my hunt is over. Nothing worth shooting for me.
I blame berger ?
Any word out there on these?

Just saw in a mile high email that these things are a reality now. How fast you think a 24" creed can push em?

I'm building a 6.5 PRC 22" with 5" suppressor high country Mule deer gun with these pills. I'm curious what reamer / freebore I am going to need with these..

I would be most interested in the following configurations:
3-18x50 FFP
4.5-27x56 FFP
5-20x56 FFP

If Meopta put a tree reticle with floating center dot similar to the Minox MR4, Kahles SKMR3, Athlon APRS1, or Trijicon Accupower MRAD 4.5-30x56 into any of these scopes, I would definitely be interested in buying a couple.
Not fast enough....but you should try it and let us know
?

I push my 147 ELDm's to 2700 as my standard load with 40gr of Reloder 17. 6.5CR, 24" Proof M24 barrel. I did a speed test when I first got the lot of 147's and Reloder 17. It can scoot up there closer to 2900 when overpressure starts. So, with these 156's I'm sure you'd be able to safely get them into the 2600-2700 range.
