Thinking about getting the rifle I always wanted - a true folding stock AR15. That doesn't need the whole buffer tube mess.

I know ZM Weapons makes one and Rock Rivers LAR PDS. Any others?

I like the Ace Ltd folding stock. Either 223 or 9mm.


Any suggestions?

beacuse they ALL require a RE (buffer tube) as a keystone to their function.

There is a company who makes a Folding addapter, but the weapon CANNOT be fired while its folded. It also adds a couple inches LOP and weight.

If you want a folding weapon, by a SCAR, FAL or SIG 55X.

You found one retrofitted "upper " that works with an AR lower. Its an AK smashed ontop of an AR. Look at the design, its a fucking AK piston/rod/bolt setup. The lower does nothing but house the FCG and work as a Magazine channel. Its a retarded design that does nothing but increase weight, recoil and is less reliable than traditional DI.

I guess the 50BMG uppers are also considered Ar-15's as well.

If it doesn't have a RE (Buffer tube for the morons), than its not an AR.
