I hope you have a short driveway now, with 7 kids I’m not sure you’d be able to pull out of anything longer than your cars length

The hell with that. Board strapped to ass and spelunking equipment mandatory.

Hell...Shooting and drinking are still my favorite things to do, besides playing in the box the kids came in.

3 after 40 years of age and 2 before...The first box wasn't as good as the second

She had my boy when I was forty one . He's now eleven and I'm 52. They're only numbers lads . Drive it like ya stole it . Me and the boy do the rock gym , toss the foot ball , bike rides it's all good . She had our daughter at 31 . They each got their childhood and day in the sun and yet the near twenty year old is jealous of the 11 year old .

I'm kinda relieved to hear that about the jealousy...We waited 5 years between, thinking each would get their 15 minutes, but the 10 yr old is jealous of the 5 yr old. I guess I'm glad we didn't wait longer, thinking that would be easier.
I was in my early thirties when the first one showed up. Glad we didn't wait longer, but definitely glad we didn't start earlier! :)

We waiting 5 years between ours because we couldn't afford 2 in daycare at the same time!!

Late 30s and my wife wants one. Mainly because she was in med school and fellowship until her early 30s and I never really 'needed' children. Thank God that russian stripper wife #1 didn't get knocked up.

We're at the point though that if we did have a child, it would change nothing for us and wouldn't really add any stress. We're on the same page about a full time nanny, about how neither of our schedules would change and we're both 100% identical with things on how we'd raise the child. Our house wouldn't need to change to accomodate anything, we wouldn't need anything extra and financially we're in a position that this wouldn't even be a speed bump. Hell, we're even half way serious of making their middle name Danger, regardless of sex.

We're both conservative, both fully realize that we vastly dislike other peoples' children as well as the bullshit PC environment they are raised in now and completely plan to avoid that at all costs. They also don't need things like a fucking iPhone and Gucci sneakers even though we can afford them; my wife came from a broke ass Asian family that managed to scrape their shit together to pay for her med school with fucking gold bars. We're not giving you anything for free, kid. Yeah, dad just bought another 10k nightvision setup. What's your point? You don't like that you don't have a pair of those overpriced shoes? Well, there's ways to fix that which we'd be happy to show you, but none of them lead to 'I'm giving you money'.

Overly educated, asian, type A personality (not the submissive asian) 3x board certified medical specialist mother and a complete German in every way, combat infantry officer father. Good luck, kid.

The only thing I kind of think is weird is that we'd be the 60 year old parents, but honestly, whatever. If we did have a kid, their opportunities as well as real world education will be something people won't even comprehend.

In other news - I have honestly NO FUCKING IDEA how I don't have random children running around everywhere from my early/mid 20s. I'm scared as shit to ever do one of those DNA blood test ancestry things.

Got friends in their 50's having a second tribe of kids, First team already finishing high school, so they are working on round two. I wouldn't change a dam thing, go for it.

Isn’t 40 years old the new 30? Shit I’ll be 47 in two weeks but still act like I’m 27 (20 if you ask my wife).

What is disturbing to me is not guys fathering kids in their 40s or even 50s. But women giving birth in their 50s and even 60s! Seems to be a trend now. WTF is that about? "No, that’s not grandma"

It was an accident. I just rolled over in bed and happened to have a hardon. Hit skin and the rest is history.

i know dude, i call it the chanel#9, its the womens fault, they get to smellin all good sometimes, whats a brother to do

you should name him mike, i like that name

Had my first kid at 20, second at 22. Loving the (nearly) empty nest now. Child support over, college tuition over, and here in a few years, the employment career will be over. Just gotta get Hull #2 out into the open water and under her own steam and I'm friggin' done...

There are guys near my age still popping out their first or second kids. Smdh...are you fucking insane? Parenting nearly killed me when I was younger, nowadays I'd probably lose my shit over half the crap I used to put up with.

When these same guys lament how it must be nice to have the whole kid thing out of the way, I just say "Pay now, or pay later. It's all the same; I just preferred to eat my vegetables first, and save dessert for last." Poor fuckers. All that "me" time during their 20's and 30's doesn't make the 2am wake up calls for projectile vomiting any easier or more justifiable.

Having children early makes you grow up a whole hell of lot faster IMO, and that's a good (though sometimes painful) thing.

Nice.....you're a lucky man :cool::cool::cool:
Thank you, I agree. I dodged a lot of bullets both literal and figurative to get here.

I figure they'll keep me young or kill me early...so far it's a toss-up but still a hell of a lot of fun. So glad I didn't have daughters since now I only have to worry about two peckers instead of all the other ones in the world

54 now with a 13 and 16 year old. Started late based on career path, racing, shooting, etc... I had my fun, now it’s their turn.
