? On SBR’s/Form 1 and my trust

I recently purchased both a supressor and a trust through SilencerShop. I went with the unlimited trust.

If I’m considering filing a form 1 to build a SBR, do I just pay the tax stamp and affix the serial number of the lower I will use to the trust? Or what is the actual process it entails?

My goal is to build a 12.5” SBR in either 556 or 300BLK, just want to make sure I have everything in order beforehand.

Silencer Shop has a Form 1 service that you can use, but they are currently offline. Once that comes back up, you should be able to do everything you need through them.

Don't wait for the silencer shop form 1. It's been down for ages.

Efile form 1. You will need a copy of the trust and a photo of your face to upload plus $200.
Find a guide online of how to run through the online process, and fill it all out. It's easy. Did an SBR my self, no trust though, but there is a point in which it asks for its info and to upload the file.
Cover letter gets emailed to you to send with prints. Get two sets of finger prints, and mail them off.
Wait about 30 days, engrave, and enjoy.

I just got my approval this morning for my SBR Form 1. 18 days total (from when they got the prints, to when they approved)

Did you find it easier to build or buy your SBR? I know I have to get a lower engraved, just not sure how to go about that. Any places that you can buy a lower from that will engrave it for me?

Easier to build im guessing. Never really hear of anybody buying one, or the process for it.

For engraving, I sent two lowers to Veritas Machining. They were in my state, but turnaround was about 7-10 days I think. They have a form you fill out and mail with the lower, then they call for payment when work is complete.
