My son [White T-shirt; SonN-Law, Blue T-shirt] has Eagle eyes and when Deer hunting in Nebr Sandhills he spot's Deer -with ease, w/out binoc's- out to a Thousand yards. While on a family vacation in Ouray Colorado he spotted this from 1/2 mile away as we drove by...thought you might get a kick outta this pic:

No one was hurt, the teens driving this bailed out before it went over the side...

The three mountain passes on this stretch of Hwy 550 are interesting in the winter. My first child was born in Durango and the Grandparents (both sets) live in Montrose and Olathe, north of the passes. Guess who got to travel over the passes... we did. I actually love driving in those conditions, but my wife wasn't too excited about it. The high potential for avalanches is somewhat unnerving if you think about it, but what frightens me more are the other drivers who are terrified and won't stay in their own lane trying to stay away from the edges, especially those that don't have rails. Non-railed drop offs are the order of the day.
