that was a very cool thing to do. A big thumbs up to you and your wife.

Re: One Happy Marine

We get so caught up in the commercialism of Christmas that we forget what the holiday is about. We give gifts because of the unfathomable gift given to us.
You guys really got it......awesome!

Re: One Happy Marine

Re: One Happy Marine

WOW...that is SO INCREDIBLE! As many others have already said, THANK YOU for taking care of a former Marine. I have no doubt that you made his Christmas EXTRA special!

Re: One Happy Marine

TD, you rock, and you're definitely beard-worthy. The last time I saw that look on an older gent's face was the day my wife's grandfather, after I trekked to Camp Perry, stuck his hand in the muzzle end of a long skinny box and closed it around the business end of a Garand. Well, well done.

That was indeed one heck of a nice thing you and the Mrs. did right there. If only the world were full of more folks like you two. Thank you for this post.

Re: One Happy Marine

Way to pay it forward. Nothin like the feeling of doing something totally unexpected by someone else.
