I've tried several one-piece mounts on my ARs ranging in cost from $40 - over $100. The M&A detachable scope mounts are now on all 3 of my ARs. Available from Brownells at $54. Mount Sets | Rings, Mounts & Bases at Brownells
They're installed with both 30mm and 1" ring sizes. They've got a great fit and don't come loose. Just shot this group at 300 yards yesterday with my RRA

Larue is just about as good as it gets IMHO. I have and use a Rock River and it works but is bulky and not well suited for long eye relief scopes. I just got a Nikon one piece mount and it is very nice for less than a C-note. Trim and works for those 1-4 scopes very well.
In that case, I would say your opinion isn't worth shit when facts prove otherwise. I'm not trying to be a dick but as they say, the proof is in the pudding and if you want the best in mounting solutions, Larue is not it.
