OOOF. This will chap some @$$

I have seen OSI arrest folks for some stuff that never happened. Friends of mine. Destroyed their careers. Over false allegations that had no substantiating evidence.

Arrests prove nothing.

And how much do you want to bet that SIG "assisted" with the investigation by having their "experts" tell OSI that it was absolutely impossible for their pistol to shoot someone, thus someone else must have shot the man.

We don't know yet who or what shot this man.

We do know that SIG is a shit pistol.

We do know that OSI is a shit detachment.

No, that is not what was said in the article or the statement.

It said they arrested someone on SUSPICION of making false statements, obstructing justice, and involuntary manslaughter.

Nothing has been proven yet.
That's what I have been trying to say. Statements about mansalughter and false statements does not mean that the gun did NOT malfunction. The article, itself, is lousy reporting without any kind of details that help any of us.

Also, the AF decided to suspend use of that pistol for a reason. Bad testimony or not, they were probably wise to err on the side of caution. Why?

There is a plethora of videos online showing ADs of pistols in holsters going off. Those were cases of not fooling around or being careless.
