Suppressors Opinions on a new suppressor? Elite Iron/AWC

I've looked over several posts and talked with LVshooter about Elite Irons 50 cal suppressor.

I'm actually looking for a 416 cal suppressor, but I figured their Alpha would be very similar to the Windtalker 416 suppressor.

Does anyone else have any opions on the Windtalker or Alpha Elite Iron suppressors?

I am also considering the AWC Turbodyne suppressor. AWC makes it in 50 cal or 416. I haven't read nearly as much on AWC or their Turbodyne suppressor. Any opinions on the company, suppressors, or the Turbodyne would be much appreciated.

I'm not concerned about weight or size. I want a suppressor that is as quiet as possible, extremely accurate, repeatable POI, and similar recoil reduction to a large muzzle brake.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks for the video links RollingThunder. Some interesting viewing.

Do you own one of their cans? I was hoping to get some first hand knowledge and experience.

thanks

..

Sorry for the delay.

I do not own the .50 but have had the good fortune of hearing it and others. Call them and stop by Pheonix next time through.
They are doing a big run now and they are tested regularly.

No problem about the delay.

Don't know that I'll get to phoenix, but I would love to hear one in person before I buy. Actually I haven't heard the Elite Iron or the Typhoon in person.

Hopefully, A few more shooters that have heard or have experience with either outfit will reply.

thanks

I'm a stocking Elite Iron dealer and in my opinon the E.I. is a excelent can with over built toughness. They are a bit heavier than other cans but on a .416 that would probably be a non issue. Im sure that the AWC is a good can to I just havent had my hands on one.

That's seems to be the general opionion on Elite Iron and their cans.

Since your a stocking dealer, Do you know if I purchase from a dealer how does Elite Iron work out sending the barrel nut to time the suppressor? Is it better to purchase direct, then have them send the suppressor to my class 3 here in KS.

thanks

If your dealer has one in stock buy it then mark TDC on the mount and send it back to EI. If not in stock buy it from where ever you can get it. Call them up they are very helpfull (406)244-0234 and can get you set up with what ever you need.

Re: Opinions on a new suppressor? Elite Iron/AWC

I usually buy out of state and have stuff transfered in to my dealer. He doesn't mind, and then I don't have to pay sales tax.

I'll probably just give them a call.

thanks
