Its a great BR scope.
Not so great of a tactical scope.
1/8 MOA turrets are fantastic for precise shot placement, but not user friendly for dialing elevation.
They have less elevation than their same powered NXS counterparts.
The externally adjustable illumination is nice compared to the internal rheostat on the NXS. Not sure why a BR scope needs illumination, other than a selling point, as there aren't a whole lot of BR comps taking place when an illuminated reticle is most beneficial...
Not that "feeling" means anything about anything, but the BR never felt as sturdy as the NXS. I've never thrown either around as I don't have the money to conduct such a test, but my NXS just seemed a bit sturdier.
Great scope for the right application. Check out the BR shooters equipment lists and you will see them all over the place. Won't see to many on tactical guns.
