OPINIONS PLEASE: Double set triggers?

Like them or prefer single trigger? Any pros and/or cons associated with them in hunting, varminting or tactical situations?

I have them on some cool old Mausers and they are a mechanical marvel. I do not care for them even though they work fine.
I would not consider them for a tactical rifle. Old solution to a not existant problem. I do prefer a good solid 4 pound trigger though. I do quite a bit of offhand shooting at running targets and I need to know exactly when the rifle is going off. A 4 pound trigger is not a problem on a 14 pound rifle.
