Opinions please

First off I just wanted to say thank you to SH and all the members. I have spent countless hours reading a ton of information on here and educating myself. I have been working hard and would like to treat myself to something nice. I have pretty much decided on the following setup, please let me know if you think I made some good choices:

Knight's Armament Enhanced Match Rifle 20"
Nightforce F1 3.5-15x50 MRAD Zero Stop MLR2
Knight's Armament One Piece Scope Mount 30mm
Magpul Precision Rifle Stock
GG&G Extreme Heavy Duty Swivel Bipod

From all the research I've done this looks like the rig I will start putting together. It will also be going with me to the GPS school in Arizona.

This rifle will be mainly used for killing paper after I develop a good load for it. Besides any school I take it to for personal enrichment I will not be shooting at more than 600 yards.

In my opinion, and take it for what it's worth, you should seriously consider the GAP-10 from G.A. Precision. I'm not saying what you're looking at is lacking but to be open to other options.

That's the main thing I was kicking around. Everyone loves that GAP on this site and I'd imagine for obvious reasons. It must be a tack driver!

I should have mentioned in the OP that I am getting a very good discount on the NIB SR25 EM. I am getting it for just over $2500.

Considering the price savings compared to the MSRP on a NIB SR25 EM do you still think I'd be better off with the GAP?

I would jump on that deal. If you don't like it for that price you could always get your money back out of it and get something else.

I just feel comfortable because I have actually used an SR25 before and never even laid hands on the GAP, although it sounds like a great weapon system!

Ugh... I kind of have my heart set on the KAC, but I don't want to regret it and think I should have purchased the GAP.

Sounds like an awesome build! The F1 is a great optic, and despite what people say about the weight of the PRS I find it a very nice stock.

The only thing I, personally, would reconsider is the GG&G bipod. I've have one and would go with a Harris or Atlas over it in a second. It just seems like the design puts the rifle too high over the bipod axis and it's not nearly as steady as it should be. YMMV, so hopefully you've tried one and like the design.

Thank you very much for your input, I appreciate it.

I was seriously considering one of the Mark 4 ER/Ts but because of what I've read on here that Night Force seems to be the better of the two great options.

Lol I'll keep that in mind. The seller is a local FFL back home that has been a friend of the family for a long time. Also said he'd give me a deal because I just recently became an NRA life member. Good guy I am happy with how it's going so far.

Additionally, I had a NF F1 mil/mil with the MLR reticle, zero stop, high speed turrets and sold it after using a USO sn/3 for a match. The NF is a great piece of glass no doubt, the MPR reticle and EREC on the USO is worth the extra $$$

I have the EMC and love you!!! If you get the SR and don't like it I will buy it if the other guys back out!!! I love the SR25.

Think about doing a harris bipod instead of the GGG. Have one and its not as fast as setting up a harris. The GGG you have to tighten the levers and sometimes its a pain to get it at the same level which you will not have the problem with the harris. Just something to think about.

Lol I think I am going to pull the trigger and go with it. I contacted GAP today just to weigh some options and I refuse to wait that long for the rifle. I'd just as soon take advantage of the deal I have in front of me and spend a little extra to get the KAC.

What a beautiful rifle,

I am going with a similar setup. I will have the Magpul PRS stock and the KAC one piece scope mount.

What kind of pistol grip is that? I was going to go with the Magpul MIAD, but that looks much better!

Also if you could please give your opinion on that GGG Bipod? Some guys say it bring the rifle up a little to high, do you notice this much? It looks a little higher than the average bipod, but super sturdy.
