    Surprise, AZ
Need another scope and am considering this Bushnell. I will be shooting mostly between 100& 300 yards. How's the resolution and is the limited E&W adjustment range adaquate. Any other comments pro or con would be very helpful.
    TIA

Is this the 1" tube version or the Tactical? I have the tactical and my friends have a couple of the 1" ones. with 20
moa base they are good out to 600yd with their 308's and one has it mounted on a 338 Lapua and he has enough adjustment out to 1000yd. The Tactical is great and a huge upgrade over the standard model for the price.

It's the 1" model as I can't find 30mm rings high enough to mount on my SCAR 16S but can find suitable for the stamndarg 1" model. I really wanted a 30mm scope.

Ultra High 30mm rings won't fit? Check out SWFA they have almost every ring imaginable I'm sure they have something. Give them a call if your not sure. It shouldn't need anymore clearance than a standard AR15

Warne Ultra High rings will clear the Objective lens bell. The problem is the ocular lens will not clear the huge windage knob on the rear sight with the 1.375 OC rings.. According to the NightForce tech I need at least 1.5" OC rings.

I have the 4200 Elite Tac FFP 6-24x50

great scope, excellent clarity out to 300yd and definitley further.
my only gripe was that my parralax focus knob didnt match up properly with the engraved numbers for the range it was supposed to focus at, but that is all and it didnt really phase me as it still had a great, sharp focus.

Wouldnt know how you could mount it mate, find the highest ones you can or maybe get a riser of some form??

Looks like i'll have to try the riser route if I can find one. Thanks for the reply. Love your country. Visited there for a few weeks and a few weeks in New Zealand some years back.

I'd also look at a one piece scope mount and rings. These are most commonly used on AR15's to get proper clearance. This should solve the problem

My 6-24 Tactical FFP came in this afternoon and I'm impressed!! I just wish I'd had time to get it mounted and zeroed before I climb up in a tree at 0500 in the morning!!

They should get out to 1000yds with a 20MOA base. 300 yrds with normal base and rings is no problem. I have two of the 6-24x50 tactical models and they are a good combination of clear, bright glass, good features, and price point. The turrets are very nice to use if you like to dial in your elevation and the scope tracks well and holds its adjustment. One of mine was shipped from Montana to Texas in a storm i3300 case and held windage perfectly and only needed an elevation change due to change in altitude.

Its a great scope for the money. I the SFP version with MOA turrets on my FN SPR. I really want to upgrade to mil/mil and I might get the new FFP version and sell the old one.
