I have one in 5.56 and 7.62, they are great cans, I have not used one on the DPMS, but I have used it on a 6.5 grendel and a AR10 it runs like a charm on my Ar10 and never had an issue on the 6.5. I love it on my bolt guns, and subsonics are freaky quiet.
I have one on a 16 inch M4, and I use it also on a 18 inch SPR (Mk12 Mod 1) and on a 20 inch rifle. The things are rock solid, no maintenance, and come with the assurance that our military has tested the crap out of em. Yeah you gotta use the specific collar and brake for the rifle involved, which really isn't a big deal, you pretty much have to do that with any can unless it screws directly to the barrel. I doubt I'll ever wear the thing out, I'd buy others for OPS, they are a good company.
Here is the only pic I have of my 12th. It is on the second AR from the right. The other AR is wearing an AAC M4-2000 and all the bolt guns have a Shark or Tiger Shark can on them.
I can't wait to get mine! I've got a Mk12-ish clone with a SPR contoured Douglas barrel from Compass lake engineering that will be it's host rifle. I don't have the collar and brake yet, since they come with the can. The ball is rolling, so hopefully in 6 months or less I'll have it in hand.
You need to be aware that the collar that comes with the 12th model is the correct collar for the SPR. If you are gonna use it on the M4 the collar will be different. I also put the A2 FH on my M4, but the brake on my other rifles. ADCO usually has the collar and brake for the SPR, the also carry the FH. I had to send to Ron Allen from OPS Inc to get the M4 collar, but it was no problem.

I bet a 22-250 with 80grainers in a bolt gun would be cool.
Yeah, I was thinking that I'd eventually get Steve at adco to setup a M4 barrel with a pinned flashhider on it. (For use with a 14.5bbl to achieve a full 16" bbl.) Not sure on the length of the flashider, but from what I've seen it looks longer than a standard A2.
