Got to do some shooting this weekend after the AAC Silencer shoot. Ron over at Ops Inc sent over several of his suppressors to play with and see how we like them. We already had the M4-S, 16th and 12th to play with at the shop. We finally got to play with the new M4M, 14th Model and 3rd Model 30 caliber suppressor. Overall, we are very pleased with the level of sound suppression, build quality, and accuracy results from Ops Inc.

For reference, most of the Ops Inc models really don't need to be contoured to work. If you barrel has the mil spec M4 profiling, the M4S, M4M, 14th, 15th and 16th will work with no problem. The 12th will work with a SPR contoured barrel, which most people who make 18" a SPR contour should work.

We also have a Ops Inc 3rd Model 50BMG suppressor on our M82/M107 and we couldn't be happier with it. I know it surely left big grins on more then 1 persons face at the AAC Shoot. A couple of other manufacturers even shot it and were blown away..... video to come!

The M4M is going to be in between the M4S and 14th in size and sound suppression. The M4S is not heard safe at all, it just takes the bark out of the bang. The M4M is a lot more tolerable, most of us could stand shooting it with no hearing protection on. The M4M is sticks out about 1.5" longer then the M4S, which only extends the rifle about an inch or so. I have some pictures I am working on showing how far each suppressor sticks out from the rifle.
