So long story short, I got a USO SN-4 1.5-6 scope off the EE on another forum from a good seller and when it arrived the Dual Focal Planes were offset from each other. I don't believe the seller knew as he hadn't ever removed it from the safe. Sent to USO and they emailed me back today with some options for a replacement as they say their techs don't have the parts to fix it.
The options are:
SVS 1-6
TS-6 (1-6)
TS-8 (1-8)
I like that the SVS has a 34mm tube, but the reticle is pretty much useless to me because my ****ty eyes make red dots look like crap and the reticle lines look huge (thick) and it's an SFP (not a huge deal but I do prefer FFP).
The TS scopes are nice because the available reticles are fully illuminated and nice and thin also these are FFP, but they are only 30mm tubes (not really a con), value is much lower than the SN-4 I sent in to get looked at and they won't be available until April.....
Anyone have any experience with the SVS? I know I could get it and flip it if I didn't like it, but I'm not sure how long I'd have to sit on it before someone interested came along.
