Recently traded for a weatherby chambered in 300wm. I have a new trigger on the way and am currently selling a few cheaper scopes and red dots, ect for some $ to buy a nicer scope for this rifle for longer range shooting.

I’m trying to find a scope in the 6-700$ range that would allow me to have some longer range shots and the ability to dial.
I most likely won’t be going past 6-800 yards for now until I am taught the long range tools of the trade from my good friend and mentor.

Any suggestions would be Greatly appreciated. As of now, the best scope I have is a Nikon 2.5-10 that I’ve used to shoot to 600 yards on a 308.

Also the SWFA 3-15 is on a great sale for black Friday through cyber Monday. I believe it was $525. Awesome scopes, great durability, good glass, and lots of elevation for dialing a 300 winmag out (~36 mils)

I'd love to see the Midas BTR 2.5-15×50 Model has APMR1 second focal plane illuminated Mil reticle in a capped version for hunting, at least a capped windage.

I have never heard of those scopes but I will definitely check them out today! Most of my items have sold so I’m getting close to my budget and I’m thinking I’ll have enough by black Friday deals.

SWFA has 10% everything for Black Friday and 20% off Burris XTR II's. Either of these scopes will get you and your 300 out to 800 yards and then some.

20% off Burris XTR would make the decision easy for me. I'd get a 4-20 XTR II for $800.

Also, mil vs moa is an endless debate. If you aren't familiar with either, go with mils. They both do the same thing, but mils offers numbers that are generally easier to remember and easier to calculate with on the fly (for wind changes). Either will work though.
