Optic for 30/30 modernization build

I am tinkering with a Marlin 336 in 30/30. Planning doing a big loop, rp or wwg trigger, loading gate. Will be my new truck gun.

Any suggestions for an optic? Hope to some modern(not 3-9) and hope for USA made.

My first choice would be a Steiner p4xi 1-4 or maybe PST (or Razor if you got the $$$) 1-6

Given the limited range of the 30-30, I don’t see the advantage of anything over 6x.

Go red dot. If it must be USA get an RMR. Otherwise go Holosun.

ETA: Ive shot a friend's 1894 44 mag with a Burris Fast fire on it. The small dot isn't even noticeable in terms of weight and handling but is a huge upgrade over irons.

Leupold vx freedom 2-7x33 might not be a bad choice if you can find one. Or maybe the same one in the rimfire model where the parallax is set at 60 yards. I believe all the centerfire scopes w/o parallax adjustment are set at 150. It might be different for a 2-7x but I'm not sure.
