Man, I hate being the new guy, but I need help and have to ask a couple of questions I'm upgrading my 91 into a MSG90-A1 clone. I had a ATN 4-12x60LU mounted on my rifle before, with the removable HK factory scope mount.
I just hated this setup. When I sighted in the rifle, my crosshairs sat low in the scope. I was told, the crosshairs adjusted on these scopes instead of the mirrors? I really don't know?
After doing a bunch of reading I had my eye on a SA 4 -14 x 56mm Gen 2 rifle scope with the 168 BDC, but after more reading, I seen they can be hit or miss on quality. I'm really not looking to break the bank on this. I'd like to find something new or used in the $500 range. I've shot many different types of weapons over the years, but I'll be the first to say, I'm a newbe for long range shooting. I'd be thankful for any help or pointer to help get me started. I was an expert marksman in the sevice years ago, but that was back in the 80's and my eyes are not what they once were.
I have a Nikon scope on my shotgun in the pic, but don't know if they have a quality scope for my rifle?
