Rifle Scopes Optic options for an AR308 pistol

I am going to be wrapping up an AR308 pistol build (12.5" barrel plus 2" linear compensator) and am not sure what direction to take the optics. On one hand a 1-6x is my preferred option for what I want the gun to do (CQB out to around 300 yards). The Razor HD or Credo 1-6 are the scopes I am leaning toward. As an option there are excellent red dots that would also be a good fit (Steiner S332 or S432) that give a very good FOV and forgiving eye box. Weight is a little bit of concern more due to balance of the gun and not the pistol being too heavy.

I would greatly appreciate any input, especially from shooters that have directly compared a red dot to LPVO on the same rifle.
