So I am picking up a Tikka T3 in .308 and am trying to decide on a scope for it. Currently I have a NF 2.5-10x32 that isn't being used and am deciding if I should throw that on their or sell it and buy a new scope, ideally a FFP scope in the 5-20 power range. The problem I'm having is that even after I sell the NF my budget is going to be about $1500 which isn't very much for what I'm looking for. The rifle will primarily be used on the range which is why I want higher magnification on the top end. So do you guys think I should sell my NF and trade up in magnification or should I just be content with the 2.5-10? If the vote is to sell it what should I look for as a replacement that has:
At least 20x on the top end
Max of 6x on the bottom end
FFP
Illuminated
Zero stop
In the $1500-$1600 price range
Originally I was thinking of a vortex pst but the recent thread about them breaking is making me hesitate
Thanks for your feedback
