First, yes, I did do a ton of searching on this forum (metric a$$load of info, wow) for my answers, but still feel it warrants asking.

It's for an AR 6x45 build, Not a LR rig. It's intended purpose will be some Practical Rifle matches,paper/steel punching and the occasional song dog.

What I'm looking for:
FFP
1x4ish but would prefer something along the lines of a 1x6 (wish I had my 1.5x5MRT back)Reticle needs to be in your face distance friendly, yet still want to be able to ring that 8" plate at 500 on my first round.
prefer 34-30mm main tube
Audible clicks in mil.

I don't want shit, buy cheap...buy twice. But on that note, I don't have 2K to drop on an optic either.

Looking for the hive opinion, thanks

Re: Optics opinion please...

I'd take a look at the U.S. Optics SN-4 1.5-6x.

"This model SN-4 was design with the DMR/SPR style rifles, as well as hunters in mind. The 1.5-6X zoom provides excellent CQB usage on the low power and on 6 X, it is capable of making accurate shots to 600+ yards. This model is perfect for Military precision on the AR style weapon platforms as well as bolt guns and M14 style weapons. Even with the smaller objective, it still provides excellent low light capabilities. Reliable adjustments and extreme durability make this scope a very effective tool in the field. MOA or MIL reticles allow you to use whichever unit of measure you desire."

It lists for $1,310. Buy once, cry once.

I love my U.S. Optics scopes - Rugged, awesome glass, and unbeatable customer service.

I read up on that and watched it before I posted this thread. I have not had good luck with bushnell in the past, hopefully the new line is better...but I will look!

That US optic sounds promising too.
