Optimum barrel length for 6/223-6x45mm bolt gun.

I’m in another lathe class at the local community college and am doing a remage style barrel in my spare time in 6/223 or as some know as the 6x45mm. It’s currently at 22” but I will be wanting it as short and as efficient as possible as it will be shot and hunted with suppressed. Any input would be appreciated.

I have never tried a long barrel since my 6x45s are for coyote calling but I am seeing 3100fps with 65 vmaxes in a 16" barrel using H4198.

I use the 75 v-max in my 12.5 inch AR-15 barrel.
Very accurate and not too long suppressed.
Shoots very accurate with the 85 grain sierra bthp also.
Can't remember velocity but think it's over 2800 fps.

I think I’m going to make it 16.5” and rethread it for my can.
