I will admit it.....im a 308 fanboy. It has served me well most of my life and i cant bring myself to change. Ive been looking at some different projectiles to keep pushing the limits and ran across the ALCO web page but cannot find any reviews for them. Also, the Warners are pretty impressive as well. I wanted to see if any of ya'll had experience with them. The rifle is a Rem 700 with 20" barrel that was worked over by a local gunsmith. Ive been shooting the Berger 175s mostly but im frustrsted with their lack of quality control.

308 fan page? I’m here! I shot SMK 175 for years till I stumbled upon the Lapua 175 Scenar L. Price difference is often a wash. Don’t run Berger’s because availability had always been an issue when I needed some. I’m trying the ELDX bullets now. I like the idea of the flat lines and other such speciality projectiles, but there is a catch. Until your the best wind reader around are you really going to get enough benefit out of them to justify the cost? I look forward to reading of your experience. Good luck and keep us updated.

Maybe so but they are working to get things in order. I heard back from them on their 6.5 line up yesterday. No new news but they have recently made movement on their 7mm projectiles iirc.
We shall see.
