I am 99% sure I am going to be re-barreling my AI in the not too distant future.

The AI wrench is a little pricey and TBAC is out of stock. No word on when they are going to be producing more. I hear say the Badger will fit, but I know nothing about it, or if they are even available.

Is there anything else out there that is a quality tool? Not looking to save a buck only to tear up a $3-4K rifle, but I don't want to spend money I don't need to.

Lonewolf, something to think about. Maybe a few guys could go together that own AIs and spread the tool cost out. Being a specialty tool these are not needed on a regular basis.

Pm me if you have any interest

Believe it or not, since I posted this I have been getting quite a few offers to loan me an action wrench. You have got to love this community.

Once I get the barrel ordered I will probably just buy the MHS wrench. If not, I will certainly take one of you gentleman up on your offer to loan me one.

Rthur, that is a good idea in theory. But problems have arisen in the past with group tool ownership. It generally works better when one guy owns it and when others use it they just kick in a couple bucks for the wear and pay for the shipping.
