Ordered FN 502 Tactical - Upgrades/Optics??

I just ordered a FN 502 Tactical. I hope its a good pistol. I have seen mixed reviews but I know FN is normally a great brand. If anyone has one I would love some advice on additions.

What sight would you run with it? It appears all are accepted fairly easily with FN's setup. I would prefer one that iron sights could still be in use but Im not sure if that's possible. I am new to the electronic sights.

Would you swap anything out? Several posts indicate some FTF and have indicated they swapped springs, guide rods, etc. Could just be rimfire ammo these days. I generally do not like to start swapping things out unless there is a clear added value.

Not at all familiar with the FN 502, but would council that each pistol is unique entity and you really need to run a few boxes through in your preferred configuration ( type ammo and suppressed/unsuppressed) and then decided what it needs.

The only problem I have with mine is that it has started to not extract live rounds. The blow back action generally does a good job of clearing the spent case, even with the faulty extractor, but I get stoppages with weak/bulk ammo. Ironically, Remimgton Thunderbolt (high velocity) ammo ran very well the last time I had it out. (I say ironically, because Remington Golden Bullet is a guaranteed malfunction in every mag.)

The extractors are OOS everywhere I’ve looked, and have been for months. I was wanting to start shooting rimfire steel challenge with it, but the bad extractor is a problem on the clock and when clearing the gun.
