Personally I think he was great. Him and all the other fruits running for the communist party nomination. The more idiots pulling money from the pockets of communist backers the better. Bleed them fuckers dry!!! They deserve each other.

Y’all act like he 1. Had a real chance and 2. Was going to take our stuff. ...when in reality his campaign lead to awesome deals online from companies looking to say “fuck you” to him. ...yet when President Obama was in office, those same companies (and private sellers) said fuck you to the consumers by jacking up their prices in order to increase profits despite President Obama not doing a single thing to infringe on our rights...unlike the current administration.
So here we have thread after thread about a dude who had zero chance of becoming president because of his campaign promises, yet no one seems to care that our current administration is infatuated with being liked, tweets at the emotional and educational level of a 12yr old unstable child, does what he wants while saying fuck you to everyone who questions him, and idolizes our nation’s number one threat.
But yea, let’s keep acting like any of the democratic candidates even have a chance this season and ignore the fact that ALL of our elected officials are shitting on the American public. You shouldn’t be mad that a Democrat has differing views. You should be mad that they are treating you like a fucking idiot. You shouldn’t be mad that a republican has differing views. You should be mad that they are continuing to treat you like a fucking idiot.
You know how you fix the system? Fucking term limits for every elected and appointed office. Work for what you have and work to keep it until it’s time to get out. Sure, everyone would work hard to listen to the people that first term and would phone it in/ride out the second term before being forced out. ...but the change that would come from the first term would be progress unlike we’ve seen. Rinse, repeat, and progress will come.
The whole left vs right shit does nothing but divide us. We are all Americans and yet we don’t seem to care that foreign powers grow stronger as our bickering grows stronger. We need to stop with the childish and emotion-driven fear tactics and come together as a people. If your opening statement is “we need to take the White House back” or “these liberals are taking our rights” then you’re part of the problem.

@M8541Reaper I used to support term limits. I've since decided that would do nothing to help the situation and would most likely place more power beyond the the reach of the voters. The congressional staffs that write these garbage bills are shifted around as new members enter and other members leave. The bureaucracy is already running much of the show.

Actually the legislative staffers aren’t passed around once a rep leaves. Sure, most find work with other reps and continue doing what they do, but they aren’t staff that is assigned to a rep once they take office.
Same goes for the district staff. All staff members, from the chief of staff to the office manager in a district office are all selected and hired by the individual representative and paid from a limited pool of funds. When the rep is voted out, resigns, is no longer able to serve, the staffers have to find new work. Most have extremely impressive resumes so finding work with another rep or within that community is easy, especially seeing how all they do is network with counterparts all day, everyday.
Staffers are nothing more than strap hangers and have zero power or control. The rep states what they want to push forward to a vote, the legislative assistant (staffer) writes up a draft and starts doing his/her research, then presents the draft to the Rep. the rep makes it bleed and so the staffer applies the edits. That happens weekly/daily over the course of months/years until it essentially goes through the same process once proposed to the House.
Term limits are the first step in ensuring that elected and appointed individuals are putting the citizens first. That being said, lazy and ignorant American voters are also a big problem and contributing factor as to why nothing changes. Shit most voters don’t give two shits about their local elections yet those are the ones that actually make a different in their day to day quality of life.
