When I was a kid I used to crew with a Dr that owned a couple of AT-6 Texan WWII trainers. His birds won Grand Champion Warbird at Oshkosh a couple of times. To this day the sound of a radial engine lifts my eyes, and my heart, skyward.

Anyone headed to Oshkosh July 2011 drop me a note and maybe we can have an eyeball. The aircraft are great... but meeting the "original" ww2 aces and aircrew is a rare treat... and they won't be around much longer.

Amazing aircraft in the video, I am with you SniperCJ nothing comes close to those old radial engines from start up to final, i also miss that sound. Thanks ssgp2 brings back some wonderful memories. MM
