had to put it somewhere, My kids Guinea pig (cavy) finaly had her babies, this is our 3rd try at breeding and if it didnt take this time we were out of luck, kid is thrilled and bouncing as they are her 4H project for this year, it been fun guessing how many were in there as she doubled in size over the last few weeks, babies are still wet so they arrived while we were out at ironically, a 4H meeting lol if anyone showsinteresti will update this thread occasionaly but notoften

soak 'em in salt water overnight then fry 'em in bacon grease. that's how grandma does squirrels. bet it'd work for guinea pig too...

this is the only forum i frequent so nowhere else to post it
anyone approaching my kids guinea pigs with malice in their heart had best be on good terms with the Maker as a meeting is in that individuals IMMEDIATE future (in the same joking manner as previous posts) (unless the kid reads them in which case all bets are off and if the wife reads them even more so) grin

now cat on the other hand, a little butter and garlic, garnished with red pepper flake

several areas in SA actually however my heritage runs a bit more towards the northern european side of things i think the southernmost ancester was German,
the mere mention of the SA practice of eating tehm is enough to set my Wife off on a rant that I dont want to deal with heh heh( usually)

Malice, never! Culinary delight? For sure! Dip em in a light beer batter and fry em up with a little malt vinegar! Just keep em away from San Freancisco though because they outlawed gerbils and now larger things are supposedly in vogue
