Other vendors or options for R-F Cam Cradle

I am sure he is probably out hunting, but I have not been able to get a hold of Defensive Edge. I have a hunt coming up and I need one next week.

I want to mount my SLR camera, laser range finder and a laser designator on top of a pair of big eye binoculars.

Any suggestions for other options?

Maybe someone else is making a similar product?

I am contemplating the purchase of the R-F Cam Cradle. Did you ever get it?

If so, how do you like it?

It is ok, there are a hundred chinese two and three system mounts on amazon for $30.

I wouldn't buy another one, as it doesn't do anything that special that a Ebay or Amazon Chinese mount won't do.

It is retarded heavy, and the optics you put on it will push it into full retard. You will require a lot of power in your ball head. My Manfrotto pistol grip ball head couldn't handle it.

I had to buy a Fiesol 40 pound ball head.

Then I ended up not using it very often.

I doubt I will ever use it hunting. I can see how it would be useful for PRS spotting.

Guess it depends on what you are going to use it for.
