Just received my OTTE GEAR Hard shell. Had been looking for an alternative to the out of stock TAD Gear hard shells, found the OTTE Hardshell, luckily, in the exact camo scheme I prefer and the scheme Roedale Precision are finishing my new rig in.

Also, the CADPAT scheme was on special as well - a great deal including the trousers to match for an amazing $200.

Ive had a real good look at the finished item, the stitching is of a very high quality, all taped and sealed . Well cut with a decent lenght in the arms so no restriction's to movement.

Ive had it on today out in the cold wet weather, working. Its comfortable, cant really vouch to its durability yet due to only just receiving it but so far its an impressive bit of kit.

OTTE have a good site as well, with what looks like some very impressive Soft shells and trousers in all the usual colours. Id certainly consider buying from them again in the future. I received very prompt service from them, check out: OTTEGEAR.COM

Re: OTTE GEAR Hard shell - recommended.

George,

Been a good purchase. well sized, practical, well thought out and user friendly.

Obviously, being made from a breathable membrane, a little noisy due too the stiffness of the material but its not leaked at all so theres a pay off ?

I bought the CADPAT colours, on special but perfect for my terrian. would defiantly purchase from OTTE again, theyve got some nice gear.

Used it all through quite a harsh, wet winter and its been good gear.

The service from OTTE was great as well so GTG !

Re: OTTE GEAR Hard shell - recommended.

Thanks for the review. I will be placing an order for a hard shell top and bottom next week. I was soaking wet with the rifle several times this year so new rain gear is in order. Of course that means that it will never rain again out here.... (which is very bad for all our beautiful grapes)
