Funny how all the warning books and films are totally ignored as everyone rushes head long into trying to get machines to do their thinking for them.

Honestly, it boggles the mind to think about in how many Sci Fi books and films AI is banned because of some horrible war against machines, or the whole premise is back to man vs machine. Just through the literature you can see how massive of a shift it is. Asimov, Gibson, Bradbury, etc. take the paradigm from man vs man, man vs nature, to man vs man's creations. Mary Shelly started it. It became a staple, and now we are seeing science fiction become science fact, but with appearently no shift given to the buckets of ink spilled ruminating over the implications. They just fly ahead claiming that to do so cautiously will allow our enemies to beat us. The likelihood of catastrophe
