Rifle Scopes Outside diameter of Nightforce 56mm bell?

I am trying to figure out my ring height and need a little help. I will be ordering a 5.5-22X56 nxs scope in the next few days. I am calculating for ring height according to the sticky above and need the outer diameter of the 56mm bell. Please post if anyone can help. Thanks-MSD

Approximately 2.56".

Don't forget to add a little "extra" to accommodate for any scope covers/etc. you may want to add to the scope.

Thanks ORD, that will help. I got standard Badger rings coming, and a pretty tall EGW rail on a Remmy 5R. I think the scope will barely clear. Gotta do some math. Thanks again!
