Over whites/Winter whites options

Haha. Yep. I can say though that the Crye ones are top notch. I’ve never used the velocity system ones, except I have the gloves, but I’m sure they are very good as well. It’s still a lot of money.
I have the Arc’teryx LEAF “Wraith” tops and bottoms in white, but it looks like they may have been DC’d. Can’t recall what I paid but they weren’t cheap. Maybe you can ‘em second hand...

Yeah they were discontinued. They can be found on ebay but it’s usually in little man sizes. I’ve never seen anything over medium.
For those talking about a DIY route, keep in mind these are probably made on at least 2 types of machines.
Straight stitch, a serger, cover stitch, or for the ones with welded seams, a CNC welder.
For your notions and fabric, you'll need:
Patterns (this is the hardest part, developing the patterns, takes tons of time)
US zippers
Tape
Shock cord
Cord locks
Buttons
Snaps
1" elastic
Crye 70D Multicam Alpine or Kryptek Yeti or Pencott Driftzone fabric
Just looking at the options out there right now that have been linked in this thread, I'm actually surprised at how low the price points are for US-made overwhites, especially the Crye systemic approach that includes gaiters, zipper access all over the place, stirrups, helmet-fit and hood adjustment with elastic cord, pockets, and stuff sack.
You can't DIY for that price, I promise you that. Finding any of the winter camo patterns right now as a DIY in small orders of fabric is extremely difficult.
Before you get started cutting fabric, you'll be into the project anywhere from $75 to $150 if you were able to buy the notions and specific winter camo from the latest companies who specialize in camouflage, not including the different machines you'll need.
Reason I know is because I'm in the process of making a winter hunting camo system for stalking and calling yotes. Go ahead and try to buy some MC Alpine binding tape, for example, or the 70D fabric. Mine is a lot more involved than overwhites, but the materials are just not there for the DIY type without some serious searching and drug deals.

Look at Sportsman's Guide. They generally have military surplus over whites. Just depends on what you're looking for. Military surplus stores may also have them in stock.
