Had a bit of fun and designed my own reticle for the kind of competeing I do, that is
- UKD from 100-650 meters
- Target sizes between 17 cm (width) to 100 cm (height)

The "H2" stands for Right 2 mil, and "V2" Left 2 mil. Used for holding of for the wind.

Mil-scale adapted for the target sizes and the distances they usually are positioned at.

I have a NF NXS today....what are the odds them making one for me?

Re: Own reticle design

Interesting, I like it, fairly specialized thou. My only fear is stadia lines being too thin when you power down, I am assuming the reticle above is max power on a FFP (?)

As far as going to production, anything that has enough demand and $$ behind it can be produced, but the cost for a "one off" reticle, costly is the word that comes to mind.

Yup, very specialized indeed. And it probably would be very thin once you power down on the magnification.

If I had the dough it would have been fun to have one made. Unfortunately, I haven't. :)

Jello: All nazi zombies live in Norway. Plenty of them there but none in Sweden....yet!

I asked Leupold how much to do a specialised reticle for me (Basically a S&B P4L fine ret.) and the quote was $30,000 to set up the machinery, once the machinery is set up, the reticle cost is just for the glass it is etched on, but that $30,000 has to be recovered from the run of scopes. Sell 100,000 scopes with that reticle and you are on to a winner, but I doubt the market is that large......
