Well guys, I'm excited as all heck to have put together a nice combination for multi-purpose hunting and long range target shooting. I made a call to Sports Optics and got one heck of a deal on the NightForce. They mounted it for me and all. I really don't think anyone else can beat their pricing. Granted it is probably too much optic for the rifle I can always swap it over to my next project. I've only gotten a chance to take it out to 100-300 yards but am very satisfied with the P308's accuracy and clarity of the ATACR. Using the iPhone app Ballistic AE, I plugged all of my info in and had a dope chart out to 1,000 yards. The app was fairly accurate as well (provided my info was accurate). I enjoy reading all the knowledge that is passed down to the next guy and am looking forward to reaching my goal of 1,000 yards.

Personally I haven't gotten good enough to really be a reliable source for this info. I can tell you with the 4lb trigger that it comes with I can shoot Moa or better at 100 yards and at 300 yards the grouping is around 4 inches give or take a flyer. I would say that put in the hands of a trained shooter this rifle would easily do sub Moa out at distance. I've been running 175 gr FGMM but I need to find out what the rifle likes. No real plans to reload so match ammo will do for now.
