Paint job on an M40A3?

While looking through the net, I've seen several M40A3 painted with duracoat, krylon, etc. and a camo paint job does seem quite appealing

Can I easily remove the paint without damaging finish, how easy is it to do it yourself, does it hurt the value of the rifle?

Any suggestions or advice would be helpful

Acetone takes Krylon right off, doesn't damage anything underneath... Full steam ahead, dude. I'll bet there's videos on the YouToobs showing how to camo up a rifle, probably explain it a lot better than me typing on & on about leaves in one hand & spray cans in the other...

Yep paint away. I krylon'ed this SPS for shits and giggles and didn't worry about it because I knew I could get it off easy if I fucked it up.
