Whats the best way to remove paint from a rifle? I have searched but can only find topics on painting nothing on removal.... Thanks in advance.

Lauer claims that cured Duracoat can only be removed by abrasive blasting. That said, some have reported good results by using various paint strippers.
For plain old spray paint, I'd start with mineral spirits and a rag. FWIW, I once sprayed brake cleaner on a gun that I didn't realize had been spray painted. Most of the paint came right off, so that's an option for metal; kinda hard on plastics, though.
