1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I haven't, but when I do I will use the duracoat with the high temp additive. What is the worst that could happen? Spend 5 minutes bead blasting it all off. I don't do mag dumps on full auto, so I don't get mine all that hot. JPG

Same heare ...that's what my freinds have done and it works well
Painted my AAC can with Rust-oleum Camouflage spray paint and have shot it till it got smokin hot and had no problem other than its a Camo Tan color and is noticeably darker on the can then the rest of the rifle. But the paint has not flaked or anything else. If you used a darker color you would'nt even notice it. Good luck.
DuraHeat would be a good choice. It is rated to 1800 deg. and comes in Matt Black, H&K Black, Woodland Brown, Woodland Green, Woodland Tan, Stainless and Pewter.
