Re: Paint

I haven't, but when I do I will use the duracoat with the high temp additive. What is the worst that could happen? Spend 5 minutes bead blasting it all off. I don't do mag dumps on full auto, so I don't get mine all that hot. JPG

Re: Paint

Painted my AAC can with Rust-oleum Camouflage spray paint and have shot it till it got smokin hot and had no problem other than its a Camo Tan color and is noticeably darker on the can then the rest of the rifle. But the paint has not flaked or anything else. If you used a darker color you would'nt even notice it. Good luck.
