I just got a fiberglass stock for my M1A from numrich. Can anyone steer me in the right direction for a couple of tutorials on painting a fiberglass stock specifically an M1A.Thanks.Im going to rattle can it.

1) scuff paint with scotchbite pad.
2) clean with acetone.....i usually follow up with a cleaning of alcohol to remove all traces of acetone
3) warm paint cans in warm water.......warm stock with a hair drier
4) apply paint.....hold cans 10-12" away and make long, light passes.....wipe nozzles after each pass to prevent drips
5) dry stock with hair drier to flash off solvent in the paint.
6) repeat steps 4 and 5 until stock is completely covered.
7) wait at least a week for paint to cure and fully harden

This is how I do them, it has worked well for me.

1. Sand and fill in any pin holes
2. Wipe down stock, tape off any areas you need to and lay a coat of epoxy high build primer on
3. Thicken your primer and turn pressure down on air gun to shoot a texture, let sit over night
4. Lay on some H series cerakote and bake at 140-150 for 3 hours
