Gunsmithing Painting a scope-question

Hey Guys,

What do the experts do to prep a scope body for Cerakote application. This scope has a gloss finish. Any and all advice appreciated. Thanks.

Scoth-Brite for prep and "C" series ambient cure cerakote.

Use Play-Doh to cover the lenses...works perfect and takes about 30 seconds to stick in there and remove once finished!
