Todd Palin, the husband of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, donated his winnings from the Iron Dog race in Alaska to the Chris Kyle Memorial Fund. Todd raced with a Chris Kyle decal honoring the fallen American sniper and hero on his snow machine.

"Todd's race winnings are donated to The Chris Kyle Memorial Fund," Sarah Palin wrote Saturday evening in a Facebook note. "For the kids and me, we're proud of our Iron Dogger, especially his dedication to family and freedom."
Palin also wrote:
Finished strong in the Iron Dog! Todd just told me, "Along with the competition, this was another great trip across Alaska seeing old friends in villages. Honored to have a picture with Alaska's famous elder, Sydney Huntington. (He's the one who gave us the quote, 'Common sense is an endangered species in government.') I'm overwhelmed by the hospitality and support shown to us in each town and village. I love these folks. It was a rough and tough race, but I'm glad we were able to finish, and I kept in mind I was racing in honor of our fallen warriors who secure our freedom."
The Palins attended Kyle's funeral on February 11 at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas and Sarah said President Barack Obama should "pay his respects" to the fallen American hero with a "gesture of condolence," which Obama has yet to do.
Sarah will address CPAC in March, which will be her second appearance at the annual conference after she, in her debut address, urged conservatives to fight against Washington's permanent political class and crony capitalists that see Washington's cesspool as a hot tub.

Very cool. I just sometimes wish people could do nice things and not shoot up a flag about it. Do it just because it's the right thing and don't mention it.

It comes across like making your offering at church in an envelope with your name on it.
