Palmetto lower

Re: Palmetto lower

The threads on commercial and mil spec receiver extensions (buffer tubes) are the same. The diameter of the part of the tube that the stock slides onto is what is different.

So on your PSA lower like any other AR lower you can use a commercial or mil spec extension.

^^ THIS! ^^

As for whether or not the PSA lowers are in spec, the ones that I have seen and worked on were all within mil-spec. I've never had any issue with fitment of parts/accessories/etc., or with function when testing them. It is my understanding that they are machined by Aero Precision with the PSA roll mark. Aero does this for numerous companies who all sell the exact same lowers but with their own respective markings.
