A navy buddy is wanting to sell his Para TTR for $1600 only has 200 rounds down the tube. I really like the rifle. Any reliability issue with the design? I know it has been around for some years from ZM.

Re: Para-Ordnance TTR

Run a couple groups through it. I have one of the TTRs and it has been a nightmare. Got it in spring '11, wouldn't cycle or group properly so I sent it back in. Four months and several calls and emails later I got it back and now it still won't group for shit, but I wasn't going through the nightmare of letting them try again with it. 4+ moa with M193 and 69gr SMKs. I'm actually looking to screw a new barrel onto it in an attempt to get it grouping worth a crap, but I'm overseas and don't know the barrel specs other than it's a carbine length 1/9" twist (want 1/7").

I'm not saying it's a bad rifle and yes, soft shooting and unique, but give it a run through or a buy back guarantee from your buddy because they aren't without past issue. Hopefully it's a good one. FYI, Para-USA quit producing them and the design is back to ZM ownership, so warranty work is questionable at best.

Azprc, can you do me a favor and tell me the gas block diameter? I don't know if it's a .625" or .750", and I won't be able to get my hands on the rifle for the next few months. Neither Para or ZM has answered my email asking the same. Thanks if you can.

Re: Para-Ordnance TTR

My buddy owns a gun shop and he just got 3 in the other day so we went to test one out and after 300 rounds not one problem. He had heard the same thing about them having problems with being reliable but it seemed really good and soft shooting.
