I am getting lots of parallax from 200 yards on in regardless of how I turn the focus knob (the image is clear but the crosshairs are blurry and dance all over the place). I tried setting it to infinity and adjusting it aimed at a house about 1300 yards off and it's fine out there - no matter what I do though I can't get it to be parallax free before 200 yards. Is there something I'm missing or should I just send it back to loopie and let them muck around with it?

I am not familiar with this scope but when you say the focus knob you are referring to the one on the side...correct? If so at what power setting you have it. You might have to point at a light background target, than with your eyes at least 4 inches from the scope the reticle should be sharp and crisp, if not than adjust the focus by using the eye piece. Make sure it does not have a lock ring, if so back it up a few turns than turn the eye piece. The side parallax adjustment knob is not to be used to focus the target image. If the reticle is first focused and the parallax then properly set, the image should be clear.

Well, the problem I'm having isn't the eyepiece but the parallax side focus knob itself - it's almost like it has a ton of slop it in it or something. If I point it at something 50 yards off and turn it all the way down, the image is clear but the crosshairs dance all around. However, if I point it at something 200 yards off I can adjust it to where the image is clear AND the crosshairs are rock solid regardless of how I move my head around behind the scope. As far as the eyepiece goes I pointed it up at the sky and adjusted it until the crosshairs were clear and I haven't messed with it since.
