Chris,
Thanks for the pics.

If you know anyone with a spare, I am interested. Was told of one for sale some time back at $850. I would be willing to do that for one or two or four.

I know that these are a rare breed. Only seen one other for sale and it was north of your figure. Wish I had a couple tucked away. Ron

Re: Parker Hale C3A1 mount

This past spring I was contacted by a fellow collector. The asking price was $1200.00. I was back to him in short order however it was sold. Could not get any info out of him. This is the cornerstone for building the C3A1 next to the correct barrel and sling. All other parts are available if you keeping asking. Ron

Re: Parker Hale C3A1 mount

Wow, almost half as much as a scope. A mount can be fabed up fairly easily, kinda hard to grind that glass and get that center chunk to say C3 Sniper however. I would think the C3 scope would be the cornerstone, without it you just have a M87 with an expensive mount and a scope that "looks" like the real thing. Then again when it is all together it is just a replica and doing the math with those numbers, 2k+ for a rifle, 3k+ for a scope, 700.00 for a stock, 300.00 for a barrel with the correct contour and (gulp) 1.2k for a mount youre sitting on a 8k+. The only two real parts would be the scope and base. Think Ill make my own.

Here's a pic of a Parker Hale M87 rifle , this is as close as anyone is going to get to a C3A1 action .

If you look at the rear scope mount area , its a small dovetail block thats removable ( 2x screws ) , this little block is not used with the C3A1 , and is removed .
