just got my tanks all set up and did my first test run thought i would share a pic of how it came out
its manganese phosphate

Looks good, if you want a little darker finish you can soak it in ATF after they come out of the tank. I also had good luck with Brownells blackening.

i have a 1911 coming up that i just have to finish all the work on but i will post better pics when its done
