Gunsmithing partial or full lenght bed?

I'm about to bed the forearm on my t/c encore. I thought about just partial bedding it only around the stock screws to have the smallest contact patch possible figuring this would be better than full length bedding and having contact down the entire length of the forearm. This is a laminate wood forearm also.

Opinions?

I did my contender years ago. I made a forearm rectangular hanger that attached barrel and then bedded the forearm to the hanger. Mine is set up so the forearm only contacts the hanger the rest of the barrel does not contact the forearm. This worked well for me.
